Hi *|FNAME|*,

As Christmas approaches at a fast pace, we welcome you to our final Your Finance Newsletter for 2023 and this one starts with the news that the Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) has left the Cash Rate on hold at 4.35% until it is reviewed at the next meeting in February 2024.

Not a day goes by without a news item about a cyber attack impacting business and their customers. In this edition we look at one of the great technology tools we use to ensure we keep our clients cyber safe and make it easy to provide us with information and documents required to successfully apply for a home loan.

We are taking a break over the Christmas and New Year period, our closure dates and holiday contact points are published below.

Thank you for a wonderful 2023, our wishes from the EquityVision team to you and your family for a safe and joyous Christmas and New Year.

Michele, Alisha, Mandy, Louise, Kellie, Tiffany, Steph, Brett and Olivia.

Tech Update – Secure Information and Document Collection
To be able to effectively assist our clients with credit advice and home loan applications, the collection of documents and information is a key activity for the EquityVision team.

We have all seen the news about cyber attacks, however, fortunately the hackers are not the only ones with access to cutting edge technology.

A common way to transfer documents is via email, however this is not a secure option as 91% of cyber attacks start with email, so given this risk, we ask that email not be used to provide any documentation, in particular those of a personal and sensitive nature.

EquityVision clients are provided with their own personal access to File invite, an easy to use, secure online automation system which takes the document request out of email, and into a secure document portal.

Part of our loan research includes reviewing your bank statements. We (and the lenders) require certain date ranges for your statements, as well as things like showing the correct identifying details and running balances.
These aren’t always easy to download via internet banking, and can be even more difficult through your phone.
File Invite also includes the use of Illion BankStatements. It is a safe and convenient method of for you to provide your statements.

Click the button below to watch HOW TO: upload your bank statements through File Invite.

Wishing you a merry and safe Christmas and New Year
With the countdown to Christmas, Steph has decorated the office and we are closing on Friday 15th December for our office Christmas lunch.

During our holiday closure the advice@equityvision.com.au email address will be monitored on a regular basis.

We look forward to assisting you with all your finance needs in 2024.
