After 10 consecutive interest rate rises, this month the RBA Board at last announced a pause to the increases in the cash rate, maintaining it at 3.60%. 

Where to from here? Inflation in now easing but remains stubbornly high which may result in the RBA again increasing rates.
Treasurer Jim Chalmers expects the economy to slow considerably later this year, because of the combination of a slowing global economy and the impact of higher interest rates.

The media has been delivering a steady news stream about the fixed rate cliff and the bank refinance wars.
